Brooke Carlson, MA


Brooke Carlson graduated with her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Dakota and earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology and Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities.  She is currently being supervised by Dr. Elizabeth Wagner while in pursuit of obtaining her license as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota.

Brooke works with children, adolescents, and adults with authenticity and empathy while offering unconditional positive regard. She has experience working in university counseling centers, community mental health settings, and school-based programs. She has experience working with a variety of mental health concerns and includes evidence based treatments such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP)
  • Comprehensive Behavioral Interventions for Tics (CBIT)
  • Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
