Melissa Scanlan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and their families.  Melissa completed her Master of Social Work degree at  Augsburg University in Minneapolis and completed her post-master supervision at Gillette Children’s Hospital in St. Paul.  Her experience includes providing psychotherapy in a variety of treatment settings including hospitals, primary care, and outpatient clinics. Her special interests include working with families and children who are experiencing chronic illness, adoption and attachment-related issues, as well as those who have been exposed to trauma.

Melissa believes in the collaborative power of therapy, and empowering clients to work toward the best versions of themselves.
