Dr. Nelly Bonilla is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at ELEOS Psychology Center under the supervision of Dr. Megan Robb and Dr. Elizabeth Wagner.  She received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Ponce Health Sciences University of Puerto Rico. She has specialized training in the diagnosis and mental health treatment of psychological, behavioral, and emotional illnesses in children, adolescents, adults, and elders. She is bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English.

Dr. Bonilla uses an integrative, trauma-informed, and strength-focused approach. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, behavioral, and substance use disorders. In addition, her professional training includes experience with people living with chronic health conditions and trauma. She maintains a holistic view of the human being, and her clinical approach integrates the mind-body connection. The primary focus in Dr. Bonilla’s work is the therapeutic relationship, so the individual can feel emotionally supported, comforted, and encouraged to foster self-growth and change.
