Trish McKenna is a Post Master’s Fellow under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Wagner and Amanda Ripley-Kayala, MA, LADC, LPCC. Trish earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Wichita State University. She completed her master’s internship through Lifespan Psychological Services, an outpatient private practice in Milwaukee, WI.
The thread that runs through all her approaches are trauma-informed, mind-body connection, and neuroscience informed. You know yourself best, no one can make decisions for you better than you, and you will be challenged during sessions to tap into that knowledge. Often we forget that we are an interactive holistic system, not only mind and body connectedness but also the system we live in. Together we can rediscover and learn more about those systems and ourselves. During a session, she will utilize a few techniques listed below, based on the presenting stories.
