Wendi Wheeler, MEd

Wendi Wheeler is a Post-Master’s Fellow under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Wagner and Dr. Erin Shields. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Dakota State University and provides individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

Wendi’s therapeutic framework centers on honoring the inherent wisdom and lived experience each person brings to the counseling space. As a narrative therapist, she is deeply curious about the power of language and storytelling. Wendi pays careful attention to the words clients use to describe their lives, collaborating with them to re-author stories that foster a clearer sense of identity, purpose, and peace. Her practice is firmly grounded in body image resilience, the pursuit of social justice, and a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and ways of knowing.
