Caroline Chambers, MSW

Caroline Chambers is a post masters fellow under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Wagner and Dr. Erin Shields. She provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. Caroline’s professional and clinical experience includes outpatient therapy, school-based mental health, community crisis intervention, and hospital social work. Through these experiences, she has supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral challenges, stress, relationship concerns, mental health crises, and significant life transitions.

Caroline understands that starting therapy and finding a therapist you genuinely feel comfortable with can feel vulnerable. She places a strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship and creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and able to be themselves. Her style is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. Caroline works to understand each person as an individual and tailors therapy to their unique experiences, strengths, needs, values, and goals.

Caroline enjoys helping clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop practical skills they can use in their everyday lives. With younger clients, Caroline incorporates developmentally appropriate activities, creativity, and skill-building while recognizing the important role that parents and caregivers can play in supporting a child’s growth and emotional well-being.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
