Dr. Erin Shields is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy to children, teens, adults, families, and couples for over ten years. She received her Doctoral Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University in Minnesota and received a Masters of Music Therapy from Saint Mary of the Woods College in Indiana.
Dr. Shields uses a systemic therapeutic lens to conceptualize individual clients in relationship to their family, culture, society, race, and all individualized differences. Dr. Shields specializes in issues related to relationships, marriage, family, and raising children. Relationships and family health is at the center of Dr. Shields practice. She believes in collaborative and attachment-focused treatment to assist clients in reaching their fullest potential.
