Sydney Howell, MA, LMFT

Sydney Howell is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University in North Carolina, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Family Social Science from the University of MN: Twin Cities. Sydney has 7 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has worked in numerous mental health settings, including day treatment, residential, community-based, and outpatient.

Sydney believes in an integrative approach to therapy that addresses both the individual and their environment. Her work is greatly influenced by social justice, equity, and inclusion. Sydney bases her interactions with clients on warmth, positivity, humor, and direct communication. Her work with clients is collaborative and strengths-based, with a focus on Attachment Theory and Systems Theory.
